At 36, Nicola was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer.
Throughout her diagnosis, Nicola saw that hair loss solution were outdated. Nicola set out on a mission to create a truly bespoke hair loss service that catered for everyone and everybody; because hair is so incredibly individual.
She founded The Wonderful Wig Company in 2016, which has already supported over 5,000 people suffering medical hair loss, including through chemotherapy or alopecia. The Wonderful Wig Company is now an approved supplier to 20 different hospitals around the North of England and has a national framework agreement.
Nicola was named the Health & Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, 2022 and Inspiring Female for Small Businesses at the North East Chamber Business Awards 2021.
